Instructions for authors
Paper template
Please use this template for paper preparation, and please comply with the following formatting rules. These rules are valid both for preparing contributed papers and poster papers.
Structure of the contributions
A seminar manuscript should tipically contain:
- the title of the paper
- the author(s) name(s) (e.g.: Albert A. Andersen 1; Bertrand B. Bull 2; Carl C. Cromwell 3)
- the author(s) affiliation(s) and countries (e.g.: 1,3 University of Alberta, Canada; 2 University of Bologna, Italy)
- the e-mail address of one corresponding author
- a summary of maximum 200 words
- 3-10 key words
- a core part describing background, objectives, data, methodology and results
- references
- tables
- graphs and diagrams
- acknowledgements
- The complete contact information of one corresponding author
Poster preparation
The poster should be printed on a 80x120 sheet. The layout may be freely chosen by the authors. The posters will be fixed on the panels on March 8, during the morning sessions. You may either bring it with you, or send it in advance. If you bring the poster with you, you can fix it by yourself. The earlier it is fixed, the more colleagues will have the chance to look at it. Your tasks before the seminar entails the preparation of a full poster paper before February 18, if you want it is included into the proceesings CD-ROM.
Both poster papers and contributed papers may be considered for further publication in a journal or an edited book.
