CIRCULATING THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT RESULTS

This part of the description is reserved to activities that are mainly performed before or after the meetings, or during the whole project duration.
Publication of technical studies on the project and on the results obtained will facilitate circulation of knowledge about it and make it easier to repeat the project in other contexts.

1 WP1: Multilateral Networking

1.1 Preparation of output of the WP
Common documents on the procedures for reciprocal credit recognition (Draft for credit recognition scheme [Product code: 005-WP1-DRF], Internet Web site (credit recognition section) [Product code: 018-WP1-WEB]) needs to be prepared before and edited after the meetings.
Finally, the project report on the Multilateral networking activities will be prepared and included in the published project report. The responsibility for this activity is assigned to the University of Bologna.

1.2 Building and Internet site
The most important output for this action is represented by the Internet Web site. It needs to be prepared along all the project duration, in order to assure that information is updated and consistent with the project stages.
The Internet site will present the synthesis of the project and its participants, but it is also the backbone of the entire project. It will be used as a communication and networking tool, to share documents and information within the network managers and the project participants.
The responsibility for this activity is assigned to the University of Bologna and to BioAgriCert (associate partner).

2 WP2: Implementation of training activities

2.1 Preparation of output of the WP
This activity will include the publication of brochures (within 6 months from the start of the project) aimed at spreading information and advertising the initiative. The brochures will be published in Thai, Chinese, Italian, German and English language.
The reports mentioned above will show the progressive results of the project regarding the training activities.
The responsibility for this activity is assigned to the University of Agricultural Science of Vienna.
Output: Brochure on the SIOP course [Product code: 032-WP2-PUB].

2.2 Preparation of teaching and didactic materials
The implementation of the training activities require the preparation, revision translation and proof-reading of several didactic materials. This will be performed by the course teachers and the colleagues from all the network members, assuring the necessary discussion and the quality level of the teaching support.
The responsibility for this activity is assigned to the University of Agricultural Science of Vienna.

3 WP3: study /research collaboration for human resource development

3.1 Preparation of output of the WP
The co-ordination of research activities among the network participants includes the preparation, analysis, revision, translation and proof-reading of the research intermediate and final reports. This will be performed by the visiting scholars and by the tutors, with collaboration of the colleagues from all the network members, assuring the necessary discussion and the quality level of the research output listed in chapter 2.2. The responsibility for this activity is assigned to the University of Gloucestershire, with the strict collaboration of the Xianjiang Agricultural University and of the Thammasat University. 3.2 Collaboration to the research activity
The hosting institutions among the network members will provide assistance and training for the research activities chosen by the visiting scholars and by the courses participants. This will be performed by the tutors, as well as by other researchers/professor/technical staff within the hosting institution, with collaboration of the colleagues from all the network members, assuring the necessary discussion and the quality level of the research. As Objectively verifiable indicators of the achievement of a satisfactory level of collaboration and of an effectiveness and quality of the common research activity the following parameters will be considered:
- 2 publications of articles in national/international scientific journals or books by national/international publishers involving young scientists (scholars, researchers or professors hired since less than 3 years or with a temporary contract) from the partner institutions;
- 4 young scientists from the partner institutions involved in publications of articles in national/international scientific journals or books by national/international publishers.
The responsibility for this activity co-ordination is assigned to the University of Bologna.

4 WP4: exchanges between universities

4.1 Preparation of output of the WP
The exchange activities will be developed starting from the 6th month of the project and require to keep weekly record of the tasks operated by the exchange scholars and the implied activities within the hosting institutions. This will allow a monitoring activity on the exchanges, and ease the preparation of intermediate and final outputs of the WP4, listed in chapter 2.2 of this application form.
The responsibility for this activity co-ordination is assigned to the University of Gloucestershire.

4.2 Academic Staff exchange preparation and distance tutorage activities
The exchange of scholars requires a preparation activity that will mainly involve the hosting University personnel, under the responsibility of the appointed tutor, who is responsible for the care of the administration, financial and logistic issues. The tutors and technical and administrative staff will provide knowledge and assistance in order to assure the necessary information to the courses participants and to comply with the bureaucratic needs of the hosting and sending institutions. The responsibility for this activity co-ordination is assigned to the University of Gloucestershire.

4.3 Internship at the Dept. of Agricultural Economics and Engineering (DEIAgra) of the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna
Two internships of scholars coming from the following partner HEI are foreseen:
- no. 1 Internship from Xinjiang Agricultural University (China)
- no. 1 Internship from the Thammasat University (Thailand)
The duration will be of about 4 months each.
The responsible partner will be the hosting University.

4.4 Internship at the Countryside and Community Research Unit (CCRU) at the University of Gloucestershire
Two internships of scholars coming from the following partner HEI are foreseen:
- no. 1 Internship from Xinjiang Agricultural University(China)
- no. 1 Internship from the Thammasat University (Thailand)
The duration will be of about 4 months each.
The responsible partner will be the hosting University.

4.5 Internship at the Department of Economics and Trade - Xinjiang Agricultural University
Two internships of scholars coming from the following partner HEI are foreseen:
- no. 1 Internship from the BOKU University (Austria)
- no. 1 Internship from University of Bologna (Italy)
The duration will be of about 4 months each.
The responsible partner will be the hosting University

4.6 Internship at the Thammasat University Bangkok
Two internships of scholars coming from the following partner HEI are foreseen:
- no. 1 Internship from Xinjiang Agricultural University(China)
- no. 1 Internship from University of Gloucester (UK)
The duration will be of about 4 months each.
The responsible partner will be the hosting University.

4.7 Internship at the BOKU University Vienna
One internship or scholars coming from the following partner HEI are foreseen:
- no. 1 Internship from Xinjiang Agricultural University(China)
The duration will be of about 4 months each.
The responsible partner will be the hosting University.

5 WP5: development of industrial relationships and exchanges

5.1 Preparation of output of the WP
During the project implementation, articles will be published in local newspapers and in specialised magazines (in Thailand, China, Italy, UK, Austria) in order to promote the project results in the area of relationships with local industries.
The preparation of articles will imply contacts and joint meetings with local journalists and with the companies involved in the project activities.
The co-ordination of this activity is assigned to the Xinjiang Agricultural University.

5.2 Staff exchange within industrial/commercial organisations

The relationships already established among the partners and the companies/industries linked to the network will be managed by the partners in order to assure an active participation. The relationship management imply contacting, interviewing, meeting and co-ordinating tasks for each participant, that will act as reference contact for the network with the national/local business environment.
As Objectively verifiable indicators of the achievement of a satisfactory level of collaboration of industrial/commercial organisations, the following parameters will be considered:
* Involvement of other subjects as funding institutions:
- 1 scholarship granted by a non-partner institution to students or scholars hosted by or coming from partner institutions
* Effectiveness and number of exchanges among universities and industrial/commercial organisations in the related industry:
- 2 internships in companies operating in the related industry, with a duration of at least 2 months each for students/scholars coming from partner institutions
- 60 registered users in the companies/industry section of the Web site, devoted to the information and communication activities of the project
* Number of industries and sector operators and professionals participating to the foreseen round tables (see section II.5.1 and III.5.1)
- 8 presenters/discussants participating to the round tables
- 20 industry operators and professionals attending each of the round tables
The co-ordination of this activity is assigned to the Xinjiang Agricultural University.

6 WP6: Project management

6.1 Preparation of output of the WP
A final report of the project will be prepared after the end of the implementation period, in order to summarise the main events, the results achieved in the several WPs, as well as the main results of the management activities. A financial report will be produced and attached to the final publication for exclusive partners use.
An internal final document, aimed at summarising the results will put the basis for the further development of common actions in the fields involved by the project. A critical analysis of the collaboration among the partners, of the communication methodology, of the problems encountered to harmonise the partners' internal procedures within the network will be performed.
The co-ordination of this activity is assigned to the University of Bologna.

6.2 Project coordination
The project co-ordination activity will be conducted along the all duration of the project. The main responsibility is assigned to the DEIAgra-UniBo unit . It will imply a steady and intense communication flow between the applicant and the partners, represented by the Project managers in each partner university. Within this activity the use of external experts is also foreseen, in order to perform an objective and sound self-evaluation procedure.
