A strategic marketing simulation tool (Markstrat on-line) has been experimented for distance learning between Italy and Thailand. Prof. Canavari, during his lectures on "Marketing Management in agribusiness companies" held in Bologna (October-December 2006) has organised 4 teams with his Italian students and 1 team of Thai graduate students. The Thai team is composed by former participants to the SIOP course in Bangkok, studying at the Thammasat University. The simulation has been run every week, letting the participants to take the decisions asyncronously.
