During the "Asia-Europe Scientific Cooperation Day" in Vienna Rainer Haas presented the BEAN-QUORUM project to an international audience.
The Asia-Europe Scientific Cooperation Day covers the interdisciplinary sciences of environment, food, agriculture, biotechnology and information technology. The latest news from FP7 and TEMPUS for the 2008 deadlines have been presented by EC and/or Austrian National Contact Point Experts, followed by successful examples of Asia-European scientific cooperation.
Finally, partnering meetings will take place in the afternoon for allowing participants to discuss their research interests and project ideas as a first step to building an Asian - European consortium.
Professor Rainer Haas has presented the BEAN-QUORUM project to the meeting participants.
Maurizio Canavari and Liu Ruifeng also participated to the meeting.
