A short meeting between some of the partners in the BEAN-QUORUM network took place in Vienna.
Maurizio Canavari (UniBO), Rainer Haas & Christoph Ameseder (BOKU), Ralph Liebing (ORA) met in Vienna with the aim of discussing about the upcoming activities, enlarging the network, and possible collaboration opportunities.
Several chances to develop the international collaboration have been identified.
The mutual interest in fostering the international relationships with Asia and further areas (i.e. Africa) has been confirmed. An interesting report about organic farming in Africa went into discussion. Further information available in the UNEP-UNCTAD Capacity Building Task Force on Trade, Environment and Development were also examined.
Finally, the interest into the upcoming event in Bangkok and the possibility to invite relevant key note speakers were also taken into consideration.
The next months before the final meeting will be used to verify the feasibility of the further collaboration options.
