The Emilia-Romagna Region, Directorate-General for Agriculture, asks to become a candidate partner of the BEAN-QUORUM network.
The Emilia-Romagna Region, Directorate-General for Agriculture, asks to become a candidate partner of the BEAN-QUORUM network.
The main responsible and contact person is Eugenio R. Spreafico , the manager in charge for EU co-operation and international relations.
The Directorate-General for Agriculture of the Emilia-Romagna Region co-ordinates the following items:
• planning and programming regional agri-food system and rural development;
• land arrangement, land reclamation and irrigation, rural infrastructures;
• aids for farms investments and competitiveness;
• services development for farms and agri-food factories;
• research and development in agriculture;
• products valorisation and quality systems;
• phytosanitary services
• promotion and development of producers’ associations;
• conservation of agri-environment, development of sustainable agriculture;
• regulation of agricultural functions given by the Region to the local authorities (Provinces and Mountain Communities).
They intend to share information about policies regarding quality production, organizational aspects of production and supply networks, regional experience in planning agricultural policies.
The main expectations on benefits achievable joining the network regard the exchange of experience in production and organization, contact between producers and producers' organizations.
Eugenio is available for contacts regarding possible collaboration opportunities by the members of the network.
