Mr. Yuttachai Anuluxtipun and Mr. Phongthorn Phianphitak will visit the BOKU and Macalauy from 3rd of August until 13th of August. The aim of the visit is to develop a new project for SWITCH - ASIA and ECF-funding. The following topics will be discussed 1.Climate Model for Global Warming 2. Carbon Sequestration and organic farming 3. Fast growing tree and carbon capture storage 4. Carbon trade and CDM

Since Land Development Department of Thammasat gives significant to global warming impact on agriculture, research and development on decreasing GHG from agricultural sector, carbon foot-print technology and has the ongoing projects on global warming issue the director of Office of Land Management Research and Development is interested to observe technology and know how in the Macaulay and BOKU which are ones of the leading institutes on global warming and carbon sequestration researches.


The schedule will be:

- 5 days in England (2 days in the Macaulay and 3 days on fields)

- 5 days in Austria (2 days in BOKU and 3 days on fields)
