The Romanian and southern-east European business people and experts for organic production and trade meet on the 22. and 23. October in Bucharest at the “Romanian Organic Forum”. This international conference will be a high level training event and business meeting for organic farmers, processors and traders.
The aim of the two days meeting is to show successful marketing strategies, provide updated information and know how on the organic market as well as to show best practice examples on selling organic products. In addition the event will be a place for Romanian and international active companies from all over Europe to get a good overview about the Romanian organic market and to meet the key player and organisations in the market. “Romania is doing well in developing its own national organic market and is also able to export high quality organic products. The Romanian Organic Forum is a good opportunity to analyse the chances and to find interesting business partners”, says Bernhard Jansen, Chairman of EkoConnect – International Centre for Organic Agriculture of Central and Eastern Europe located in Germany and co-organiser of the event.
Parallel to the conference organic companies will present their products and services at a table exhibition. After the conference there will be an excursion to organic companies in the Bucharest area.
The event is organised by 4 partners: the Romanian organic association Bio-Romania, the Romanian Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Swiss International Trade Centre and EkoConnect, which is also the organizer of the well known yearly Organic Marketing Forum in Warsaw.
The Romanian Organic Forum takes place on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2009 in the Bucharest expo area “Romexpo”. All presentations will be simultaneously translated into English and Romanian language. The registration is now open and until the 15th of October.
