International Master Program in Horticultural Sciences - Call for applications for Erasmus Mundus scholarships

December 19, 2009

Ten scholarships funded by the Erasmus Mundus Programme are available for third country students. Deadline for applications is on the 1st of January, 2010 for third country students and 31st of May, 2010 for EU students.

The 2-year Master degree in Horticultural Sciences is jointly awarded by the Alma Mater Studiorum-University of Bologna, the Technical University of Munich and the BOKU-University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.

A description of the program is available in the UNIBO website, where you can find information on the Erasmus Mundus scholarships, that are available for both non-EU students from many regions and EU students.

If you are a graduate student and would like to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship go to the Information and Admission Form web page.

One of the members of the BEAN-QUORUM network already seized this chance in Academic year 2008/09. She ranked 2nd in the general ranking of applicants and was awarded of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

A further opportunity offered by the Erasmus Mundus programme is the "international scholar grant", which makes possible to non-EU scholars (professors or researchers) to apply for a short teaching period.

This represents a very good opportunity to further enhance the relationships among the BEAN-QUORUM network members.
