The China Agricultural University (CAU) of Beijing, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology asks to become partner of the BEAN-QUORUM network. The contact person is the Head of the Department, Prof. Ma Huiqin.
China Agricultural University is the best Agricultural related University in China, a '211' and '985' project university. College of Agriculture and Biotechnology is the largest and strongest college of the university. The research of the college focus on high efficient and sustainable production of crops, horticultural products, organic agriculture, Agri-environmental system, and the relevant business aspect.
The college has more than 200 staffs, 1200 undergraduates and more than 1000 master and Ph.D students.
The main contributions offered to the network are, on the reseach aspect to cooperation with other international players to improve the knowledge of Agricultural production, environment protection, increase the income of the farmers by high efficient and market driven cultivation. Co-apply and cooperation on relevant international projects, exchange knowledge and do consultant work with the future partners.
In students training, can accept international students to work for the degree or short time study.
The main expectations they have on benefits achievable joining the network consist in information from other partners both on research and students training, co-apply EU Asia-link projects, work together on Chinese market import/export consultant, exchange teachers and students.
